In the era of PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC rampant as the option to play the game, there are some people who still love to play on the PlayStation 3 or Vita, even stream via PlayStation Now feature.
But this time Sony announces a bad news for users of the PlayStation Now gamers on PlayStation 3 and Vita.
Reporting from DualShockers, Sony Interactive Entertainment PlayStation Now will halt service on multiple devices such as the Sony PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation TV, and other devices.
The company decided to focus PlayStation Now for PlayStation 4, and PC for the sake of cultivating deeper and enhance the user experience on both devices.
The following devices will be discontinued on August 15, 2017 - PlayStation 3
- PlayStation Vita and PlayStation TV
- All models of Sony Bravia TV in 2013, 2014, 2015
- All Sony Blu-ray player models
- All Samsung TV models
Steps taken by Sony may be detrimental to some of the gamers who do not have adequate PS4 or PC. However, it seems this is one evidence of a technological development that can not be avoided.
